Advanced technology.
Real results.
Aquila Water Leak Detection is a locally owned and operated business servicing the Gold Coast, the Tweed and surrounding areas.
Our Approach
Find it first.
The non-destructive way to find leaks.
Most water damage doesn't start with a burst pipe. It starts with a slow leak nobody can see — behind a wall, under a slab, beneath a shower base — quietly running up a water bill and softening the structure around it.
The old way of dealing with that was to start opening things up until the water showed itself. That's expensive, it's messy, and it's often wrong. We built Aquila around the opposite idea: use the technology, find the leak accurately, and only then decide what needs to be opened.
The result is a smaller repair, a faster fix and a homeowner who knows exactly what they're paying for.

Why Choose Us
Why choose us?
Leak detection is a trade where you're trusting someone's judgement about something you can't see. Here's what ours is built on.
Fully Insured
Public liability and professional indemnity cover, so there's no question about who carries the risk on your property.
Latest Technology
Acoustic correlators, thermal cameras, moisture meters and tracer gas — the equipment that makes non-invasive detection possible.
Experienced Technicians
Highly trained, genuinely interested in the puzzle, and happy to explain what they found and how they found it.
Fast Response
Bookings Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm, and we don't leave you waiting a fortnight to be seen.
Honest & Transparent
Upfront pricing and no hidden costs. If we can't find it, we tell you that too — rather than inventing a leak.
Locally Owned
Based here, working here. We know the housing stock, the soil, the plumbing quirks and the suburbs that flood.
The Toolkit
Four ways to see through a wall.
No single instrument finds every leak. Used together, they turn a whole-house mystery into a marked spot on the floor.
-
Acoustic Detection
Ground microphones and correlators pick up the sound of escaping water through concrete, soil and cavity walls.
-
Thermal Imaging
Temperature differences reveal where water is travelling behind tiles, plaster and under floors.
-
Moisture Mapping
Meters trace the wettest path back toward the source instead of guessing from the stain.
-
Pressure & Tracer Gas
Isolating and pressurising lines confirms which pipe is failing, and tracer gas finds the smallest of them.
